  Service is very bad no professionalism Services are very poor personal vendettas are held against innocent customers I would not recommend this one but the rest of Statefarm agencies are fantastic

  I have had several State Farm Agents in the past few years due relocating for work frequently and I have always had a wonderful experience with those agents. Not the case here. Jeff Jantz and his team are the worst representation of State Farm I have experienced; to say that courtesy, integrity, and professionalism are lacking would be an understatement. He and his staff have poor business practices and customer service skills. These lack of skills range from basic not keeping promises of following up and returning calls to extremely misleading, fraudulent business practices such as not disclosing interest rates on loans offered through State Farm bank. Story: We were getting ready to switch to a different agent due a ton of policy pricing/account information issues since day one that took forever to work through when we made the mistake of giving them one last shot when Jeff himself asked us to come in for a 'policy review'. This guy sat across the table from us and gave the usual lip service, "this isn't how we operate; this isn't how I like to do business; we will offer better service in the future," to cover up after his lousy staff screwed up to which he acknowledged. At first we bought into it, and during the same visit inquired into a refinance auto loan (which I was planning on doing anyway with other banks). Jeff promised that they would call back same day with a conditional offer. I didn't receive a call that afternoon like they promised (business as usual for them). The next day, in the afternoon, I received a call from Nadia stating that I was conditionally approved, but she didn't have the interest rate for me (first red flag) and that she needed the payoff amount and loan information to get me the interest rate (second red flag). When I visited the office later that afternoon, Nadia's story changed quickly in front of Jeff and she told us that she and State Farm bank would request that info from my bank and it could take up to 72 hours. I gave them 7 days and got nothing from them. After multiple calls during week #2 to see if they finally received the interest rate to disclose with me, I was being blown off with, "we are still working on it," and "we need your current loan information, do you have it?", to no call backs at all, I called State Farm Bank directly to see why they couldn't get a conditional interest rate (I was not giving my loan information without this first; you shouldn't either). State Farm bank was helpful and told me they had sent the application back to Jeff and his worthless staff two weeks earlier on the same day we applied for it with the conditional offer amount AND INTEREST RATE (all I wanted!!). The rep told me that THEY had even been waiting two weeks for Jeff and his team to get back with them on whether or not I accepted the offer. She told me that Jeff should have invited me back to the office to explain the conditional approval and to get an acceptance from me. If I accept, only then can they request the loan information and payoff amount. She quickly helped me cancel the application. Shady to not disclose the interest rate even though they had it? I think so, but who really knows with Jeff Jantz and his team. Bottom line, what they did was a very poor business practice and borderline fraudulent. Ultimately, this proved to me that nothing changed and nothing was going to change and that it could and would only get worse. Thinking back to 'policy review' meeting with Jeff and to have him sit across from me, lie to my face, and say things will get better and it did not with the refinance app left a really bad taste in my mouth. Overall, he and his off office come off as complacent, disorganized and not knowledgeable of the back end systems and services State Farm offers. It has been one bad experience with them after another. I don't even want to imagine what a claim process would be like with these people. We are in the process of switching agents as I don't want to be any part of this guys book of business, and neither should anyone else reading this.
